On Sunday, June 2nd, Rev Ann C Fox is our guest leader. Her sermon is titled "A Larger Self”. Ancient Hindu scripture urges us to understand deeply that we are two persons in one: our spiritual self (our big “S” Self) and our personality self (our small “s” self). More recent spiritual teachers put such a concept into an understandable perspective—Ekhart Tolle, for one, in his book The Power of Now. Most of the world’s religions have this concept in one way or another, including Christianity. This teaching can have a beneficial effect on our lives. Let’s explore.
