Hello to our Family of friends,
This Sunday, May 2nd, our own Rev Richard Trudeau will present a sermon titled "Cathedral".
In an illustrated sermon Richard reflects on why he is so fascinated by the medieval cathedral in Lincoln, England.
Rev. Richard Trudeau was for 17 years the minister of the UU Church of Weymouth, and for 35 years a teacher of math and the history of astronomy at Stonehill College in Easton. His latest book is “Bible Stories for Skeptics.” He is married to Susan O’Connor, who works at a non-profit that teaches computer skills to residents of Roxbury. In the mid-1980s, before he was a minister, Richard attended the Unitarian Church in Fall River, but drifted away because he felt 30 miles was too far to drive to church. Now semi-retired, he doesn’t mind the drive at all.
We will be ZOOMing so send an email to request the Zoom Link.
Please remember that our address is 309 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720 and that we have a secure drop box at the front of church building, so that you can keep up with your pledges and donations in support of our church. A BIG thank you to all of our friends, who have consistently honored their commitment to our church during this difficult time. And, we want you to join us and know that we welcome you without reservation or commitment or donation.
We have started our Spring clean up on the church grounds. You are invited to bring your own tools and gloves and yard waste bags at any time to help us out. No special invitation is needed or given. Just help us to do our part in making our space look great.
