November 9th– Back Porch at Coffeehouse 309: The Unitarian Church in Fall River, 309 N. Main St., presents “Back Porch” with Walter Whitehead and Dave Osborne at 7:30 p.m. They are an acoustic duo who plays songs from many traditions – blues, country, folk, rockabilly, western swing, rock and roll. We cover a few familiar tunes from the likes of Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, and Hank Williams. Unlike many cover bands, however, they think of themselves as an “uncover” band, digging into the depths of our rich musical heritage to bring you some of the best songs you’ve never heard. Donation $10. Drinks and homemade desserts featured.
