Hello to our Family of friends,
Lisa Kirk rejoins us on Sunday, April 18 th with a service titled “RBG”.
We all know these initials and what the esteemed justice was known for. Come and explore some of what we may not know about her.
Lisa Kirk comes from a Roman Catholic background and is ever grateful for her learning about faith through the devotion of her elders regarding their religious convictions. Although those convictions were never shared strength in faith was. She serves as pulpit supply in several pulpits in Mass, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, has worked in ministry for the homeless, is currently serving as a prison chaplain for a man she’s been seeing for 4 years, and works full time as a hospice chaplain. This work takes her to many communities on the North Shore in service of some of our most vulnerable. In addition she has trained groups in pastoral care and hopes to begin leading some small groups again. Lisa loves to travel and see new places, hence her service in so many different places. She lives in Marblehead with her two cats, Sam and Elly.
Please remember that our address is 309 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720 and that we have a secure drop box at the front of church building, so that you can keep up with your pledges and donations in support of our church. A BIG thank you to all of our friends, who have consistently honored their commitment to our church during this difficult time. And, we want you to join us and know that we welcome you without reservation or commitment or donation.
Hope to see you this week. And, as always, if you no longer want to receive these notices, let me know and I will remove your email address. If you know of anyone who would like to join us, send them a copy of this email and let me know that you did.
