This week Rev Ann Fox will be joining us for our Sunday Service.
Our Sermon: “Sowing and Reaping”.
As we approach the end of the growing season in our part of the world,
we can appreciate the saying, “We reap what we sow.”
Our parents may have used this as a cautionary saying about doing
the right thing or accepting the consequences. Jesus’ parables mostly
dealt with situations in farming or pastoral life because most people
experienced that kind of life. Let us look at its meaning for the
people of his time and also, more importantly, for ours.
