Hello to all of our family and friends,
“Is there Life After Death?” In congregations across the world this Easter, this question has been answered already. As Unitarian Universalists, our search for truth and meaning is encouraged and we find our own answers. We will consider different perspectives and answers to this question in our time together. Our guest, Rev Vera O’Brien, will help us to explore our faith.
Brief Biography
Rev. Vera O’Brien currently serves as a hospice chaplain for HopeHealth at both the McCarthy Care Center (inpatient hospice) in Sandwich and also visits patients on Martha’s Vineyard. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, she was a staff chaplain and co-led the volunteer chaplains, participated in spiritual care research, and led classes and workshops for students and staff. While serving as Lifespan Educator at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, she was joyfully ordained there in 2007. She lives in Plymouth, MA.
Please remember that our address is 309 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720 and that we have a secure drop box at the front of church building, so that you can keep up with your pledges and donations in support of our church. A BIG thank you to all of our friends who have consistently honored their commitment to our church during this difficult time.
Hope to see you this week. And, as always, if you no longer want to receive these notices, let me know and I will remove your email address. If you know of anyone who would like to join us, send them a copy of this email and let me know that you did.
