Lisa graduated from Andover Newton Theological School with a Masters of Divinity in 2015. She has served as pulpit supply in several pulpits over the past five years both in Massachusetts and in Connecticut. During her time in seminary she worked in ministry for the homeless on the streets of Waltham. She is currently serving as a prison chaplain as well as a hospice chaplain. Lisa co-leads a small group ministry and has trained groups in pastoral care.
She is also on the credentialing path with the UUA to become an ordained UU minister
John Burciaga has served UU congregations throughout the U.S., and lives now in Newburyport, MA with his wive, Linda Lu Burciaga. John's other career is in journalism and he continues to write editorial-page columns for daily and weekly newspapers.

On Sunday, September 25th, Katelyn Haven will be joining us as our Lay Leader. She lives in Easton with her Husband, Jason of 11 years, Juno the spunky mutt, and their three children, Naomi, Henry and Violette, whom they home educate. She is very involved in services, music and religious education at the Unity Church. She serves on the Human Rights Commission for the town of Easton. She loves singing, baking, writing, creating, spending time in Nature and with her family and friends. This Sunday our sermon is titled, "Intersectionality & Self Care".
Our service will be led by Rev. Paul Langston-Daley, who identifies, recruits, and engages congregations and other groups to deepen their justice and human rights work and involvement with UUSC in a variety of ways. As UUSC's senior program leader for justice building, Langston-Daley grows the capacity of UU congregations to pursue sustained, systemic social change work.
On Sunday September 4th, Nicholas Boke will speak on "Amid Believers"as he reflects on what two recent experiences prompted him to think about regarding Unitarian Universalism.
Nicholas Boke, our guest Minister, has supplied pulpits in dozens of UU churches. He is the former minister of the First Universalist Parish of Chester, Vermont. Currently, he works as an international education consultant, primarily in the Middle East and in Africa. He lives in Providence with his wife, Buffy, who is Minister of First Parish UU in Canton.
